STOCKTON, California – April, 2008 - Brooks Berry has been named Technical Director of NexFrame. In this newly created position, Berry will focus on technical design methodology, engineering procedures, and serve as third party design liaison for NexFrame's light gauge steel building projects.
In making the announcement, NexFrame President Ron Donnini said the company will concentrate more on multi-family and the hotel and motel industry during this year. “These efforts require a significant amount of technical interface with the client, and Brooks has exactly the right experience and expertise to fill this role,” said Donnini.
Berry's responsibilities include reviewing and approving all design details, integrating all NUCONSTEEL™ technical design methodology, training personnel on light gauge steel technical design and developing software enhancements needed for improving design efficiencies.
In addition, he is responsible for developing a relationship with engineering firms to demonstrate the benefits of the NuFrame and Nutruss 2.0 systems and serving as a technical resource to sales for presentations and support.
He also reviews all details developed by design partner, BORM Engineering, and develops and enhances standards used by designers, including wall, floor and truss designers.
Berry, a 29-year veteran of producing and designing steel structures, built his professional career in Texas where he was associated with a range of companies successful at serving the building industry. He brings his special expertise to NexFrame from NUCONSTEEL™ Commercial Corp. where he served as residential design manager and senior designer.
